How My blog started?
It was fairly by chance, that I started my blog. I was not prepared or never thought that I could ever write anything and will start a food blog. It is all due to my son and husbands encouragement that I was able to start my blog. My son wanted to attend a seminar of Web Builder Boot Camp for WordPress in library. They were going to teach in 4 days about How to start your website… My husband called them for registration and he registered it for both of us. This provided the ignition to start my journey towards unknown destination!
After the initial introduction, the Blog started getting its shape and a Tagline emerged in 3 days! I published my first post on 4th day of training on January 24, 2018.. For few days, my husband , son and one of my school friend were the only readers! They kept me going with all the motivated words, savoring the delicacies and sometimes being ginny pigs of my experimental recipes😉
Then slowly other fellow bloggers, completely unknown and kind people started becoming very good friends and new horizon of my life started showing its glimpses. It connects me to amazing people throughout the world. Thank you all for joining me and keep me motivated.
I am really loving and enjoying publishing my recipes. It is a way of learning something new each day. Although my posts are published once a week, they keep my mind engaged all through that week. After completing the post it gives me immense satisfaction.
Here is where it all started…Thank you Bloomington Library and the fabulous coaches there 🙂
Advice to new bloggers:
I am still very new as not even completed a year in this area. I am learning each day…. So this is what I do and remind it to myself,
- Go easy, it takes time to build a strong content. As there is a proverb ” Rome was not build in a day”
- Post at regular intervals, be consistent in posting new content.
